I often ponder the Lord’s works in my life; His faithfulness, forebearance, forgiveness, and mercy.
I tarry there. In so doing, I thank Him for the work of His hands, the blood of His Son that covers us, and the joy that is set before us - the eternal promise.
Lately, I’ve been soaking in the presence of ‘first love’ again, the John 3:16 kind.
A love so fierce, it tore the temple veil in two.
A love so pure, it transforms our hearts and our minds.
A love so humble, it makes long-suffering desireable.
A love so compassionate, it wants all of our suffering in exchange for more: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Amen!
When the Lord showed me a glimpse of my love for creative writing, at Primary School age, it was a mere realisation in the midst of doing it.
It was a task set to begin the school day, it could be real or completely made up - child’s minds do wander!
I loved it, and at the time, my introspective mind paused a moment and accepted the joy that writing gave me.
This page, about my heart’s Glorious muse, is not only a reflection of my love for writing, but of my intimacy with the One who created us for more 🩰
To Jesus Christ be all the Glory.
